oh the extremities

Writer’s block, oh how I never knew the extremities of writer’s block.  I have been trying to brainstorm on my Literacy Narrative and am at a loss.  I am thinking that I should read other samples of narratives so I can get some other ideas on how to write my own.  Usually I can just sit down, plot out an outline and then type up my story but it has been almost a week of looking at a blank outline paper and unfortunately the paper for my outline is still blank.  So now my plan is too do some extra research and read some other narratives.  Any suggestions on how to crush writer’s block and get the words flowing for a literacy narrative, comment and let me know!

my importants

top left: Kaia, me, Quese middle left: Kevin and Ralph
bottom left: me, Juno, Sasha right: Mom, me

Above are the most important people in my life (missing a few of course) today. Kaia and Quese are the little kids I help babysit for Renee. I met Renee through Juno, my best friend and roommate. At first, I knew her because she does my hair along with Juno's hair. After a while, Juno and I started to babysit her kids Kaia and Quese. I love these kids to death and they really opened my eyes to the importance of youth in life. Recently Renee was diagnosed with breast cancer and although I tried to play it off, it was absolutely heart breaking because she is one of the most amazing people I've known. I didn't think she deserved it at all but she was totally positive went through some surgeries and beat cancer's ass. The middle picture on the left is of my boyfriend when he was cuddling with my kitten Ralph. I've been with Kevin for over a year now and although me moving away from Lansing to Kalamazoo, we are still very happy together. The bottom picture is of my roommates and I. These girls are basically family to me now. I have been best friends with them ever since freshman year of high school. On the right is a picture of me and my mother. My mom is my world simply put. She has taught me everything, and moving away makes me appreciate her even more.

Basically I just wanted to expand on my life a little more and thought that would be easiest by explaining some of the most important people in my life.

Talk to you later bloggies!
