deja homecoming

as many of you know, last weekend was Western's Homecoming and I had a blast! my boyfriend ending up coming to my apartment and brought his three buddies along with them. I cooked before they got there, they love my chicken bacon bites, and then I spent most of the day snuggled on the couch since it was way to cold for me to venture outside. Later that night, my boyfriend, my roommates and I went out to a frat house to meet up with Kevin's friends. It was crazy to say the least.

this weekend is my high school's homecoming! talk about deja vu! I am very excited to go home and see some of my favorite teachers and old buddies that I haven't seen since I moved. Also I can take all my laundry and not have to spend money here to do it! College kid problems. But, I worked my butt of this week to get ahead in my school work and now I don't believe I have much to do this weekend besides read over my notes. I do that every night anyways so it isn't too big of a deal.

along with coming home, getting to see my mom and dad, my cat and dog, my teachers from high school, some old younger friends still in high school, and some old friends I graduated with, I get to easily see my boyfriend. two weekends in a row is seriously a great treat!

that's it for now bloggetts. keep it classy and I'll talk/type to you soon!

I kind of miss getting all dolled up!

second drafting

oh the joys of editing your first draft.

going through all the different views on my paper was definitely helpful with some grammatical errors I skipped over when I read it before printing, but the overall feedback was just that it was good.

although I am happy that people thought my paper was good it made me question myself with having only a few grammatical issues throughout the whole first draft of my literacy narrative.

with me, questioning myself is never good because I always think too much into things, and being as this is not my only class, I think I spent waaaaaay to much time thinking to much about things that probably were not even wrong.

I went through last week and fixed the errors that were pointed out but today I spent soo much time wondering what other changes might have been missed.

striving for perfection can be really time consuming, especially when you know that your no where close. “sigh”

anyways, I’m out for now, need to get to bed so I can wake up and go to the advising office early tomorrow morning.

keep it classy bloggas, talk, well actually, type to you soon.
