writing a literacy narrative

I have finally made up my mind and have decided to write my literacy narrative on my favorite English teacher Mr. Oppenhiem.  Mr. O was my english teacher for my junior year of high school.  I learned more about English in that class than I have in my other three years of high school combined.  I just need to make sure I can make the main events I remembered the most flow.  I think making it flow, and making it to four pages will be my biggest struggle when writing this.

I am going to attend the poetry reading tonight.  I am actually pretty excited about it too.  Not only will the extra credit be nice but I am excited to hear the emotion the author will put behind it.  Stay tuned to hear about my journey to the poetry reading!

Talk to you later blog frogs.

simply and utterly

at the moment I am simply and utterly irritated, and blog readers I'm going to tell you why..

reason #1: work load
the ridiculous amount of work I have this week is soo annoying, for one class; a one page paper along with a four-five page paper, two chapters to read in the book. for another class; a midterm this Wednesday. for another class; two blog posts, readings and whatever we get thrown at us. for another class; 15 problems from the book and then a lab to complete before Friday. then yet another class I have reading to do, analyzation of a chapter that I have to present with a partner and volunteering and other events I have to complete so I can write a one page paper on those events.

reason #2: WHY DID I TAKE 15 CREDITS!?!?
this reason for my annoyance is just me repeating this question to myself since I still haven't found the answer as to why I took 15 credits this semester, as if you readers needed an explanation to that reason, there you go.

reason #3: stupid old age
I am turning 19 this week, yet won't be able to celebrate it at all, which I am somewhat used too due to sports back in highschool, but now I don't get to see my parents for dinner because I have class until 7:50 and one of my roommates has to work, while the other one is in class until 9:00 pm so I wouldn't have a way of getting to dinner with my parents anyways

reason #4: cool Noodles&Co.
my roommates work all the time, and even though I asked them to put it on their calendar at work, maybe they forgot, I don't know but one of my roommates has a class, then work then another class until 9:00pm while the other roommate has class during the day and then has to work at night.
too make matters worse, when my roommate came home from work last night and was talking about how the new schedule was up and I asked if she worked on Thursday, she forgot it was even my birthday this week. it also made it clear that my other roommate forgot when she said "oh shit, I forgot it was this week."

reason #5: my better half
sometimes, I wonder who the heck came up with that term, and now I am wondering why I just referred to him as that. but back to the point, my boyfriend isn't coming to stay with me or to even see me on my birthday. I haven't seen him in over two weeks and he isn't sounding like that will change at all this week due to his soccer league he plays in and his stupid fantasy football which are obviously much more important than your girlfriend, right? riiiiiight. at this point, all I have to say about this is whatever.

reason #way too many:
although I wish I was cheery and happy all the time, I simply am not. and this blog is one (of hopefully few) where I am going to vent into the cyber world and take some stress out on my key board.

that's all for now fellow bloggers, I'll be back soon with hopefully a much better attitude.
