I just watched a video for my anthropology class for extra credit and first off I want to let you all know that that video was seriously two hours long, okay I am exaggerating, it was only one hour and fifty three minutes long.. no big deal though right? besides the fact that my brain feels like mush and I wasted two hours of my life that I will never get back.
But at least I get extra credit! And you never know when you will need extra credit for a class and I know it will be worth it in the end.
I did learn a lot from the movie though, in class I learned that we all evolved from the tropics, and through different clues from genetic studies, this man traced the literal journey from Africa that all of our ancestors took. It was cool to watch and I just wish it would have been longer but looking back I don't think he would have been able to argue his controversial story and cover all the basics of his argument.
I would recommend it to anyone interested in anthropology, biology, or people that are extremely bored and have two hours to spend increasing knowledge. Haha, yea right. Like that last one would ever happen in America.
